Taxonomy
Derbyella kanmerai was named by Yanagida (1967). Its type specimen is GKD 31210 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tham Nam Maholan, Ban Nong Hin, Changwat Loei, which is in an Asselian carbonate limestone in Thailand.
