Prospondylus chintongia

Taxonomy
Prospondylus chintongia was named by Yancey (1985). Its type specimen is HP-100024 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is H.S. Lee Mine No. 8, just above alatoconchid zone, Kinta Valley, which is in a Kungurian shallow subtidal limestone in the H. S. Lee Formation of Malaysia.
