Taxonomy
Polypora sichuanensis was named by Yang and Lu (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huayingshan Section Bed 10 (IIF207), Linshui County, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China.
