Taxonomy
Nicklesopora cylindrica was named by Yang and Lu (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huayingshan Section Bed 8 (IIF201), Linshui County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine shale in the Longtan Formation of China.
