Symmorium reniforme
Taxonomy
Symmorium reniforme was named by Cope (1893). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Court Creek, near Galesburg, which is in a Moscovian marine shale in the Linton Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Symmorium.
