Stellarispongia aspera
Taxonomy
Stellarispongia aspera was named by Rigby (1976). It is not extant. Its type locality is GSC C12470, C12471 Sor Fiord, Ellesmere Island, which is in an Emsian shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Blue Fiord Formation of Canada. It is the type species of Stellarispongia.
