Wilsonimaia ethelae
Taxonomy
Wilsonimaia ethelae was named by Blow and Manning (1996). Its type specimen is USNM 484561, a carapace, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS 22329, Lanes Ferry Road, which is in a Bartonian offshore wackestone/grainstone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina. It is the type species of Wilsonimaia.
