Puffinus tedfordi
Taxonomy
Puffinus tedfordi was named by Howard (1971). Its type specimen is LACM 15386, a limb element (tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arroyo Tiberon, which is in a Zanclean coastal horizon in the Almejas Formation of Mexico.
