Lobatospongia nodensis
Taxonomy
Lobatospongia nodensis was named by Rigby et al. (2007). Its type specimen is USNM 480660 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is United Park City Mines property, which is in a Roadian/Wordian offshore shale in Utah. It is the type species of Lobatospongia.
