Spalacotherium taylori
Taxonomy
Spalacotherium taylori was named by Clemens and Lees (1971). Its type specimen is BMNH M21103, a tooth (left lower molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Paddockhurst bone bed [Paddockhurst Park], which is in a Valanginian terrestrial limestone in the Tunbridge Wells Sand Formation of the United Kingdom.
