Taxonomy
Straparollus (Euomphalus) qingyanensis was named by Yin and Yochelson (1983). Its type specimen is GQ81091 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Yinshanpo KC261, Qingyan, which is in a Pelsonian/Illyrian marine shale/marl in the Qingyan Formation of China.
