Chauliognathus pristinus

Taxonomy
Chauliognathus pristinus was named by Scudder (1876). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Castello's Ranch, Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
