Taxonomy
Belemnospongia epiradiatus was named by Rigby and Chatterton (1999). It is not extant. Its type locality is Section AV4, 126mT, Avalanche Lake, which is in a Sheinwoodian offshore lime mudstone/wackestone in the Delorme Formation of Canada.
