Teleoschistus antiquus
Taxonomy
Euschistus antiquus was named by Scudder (1878). Its type specimen is 38, an exoskeleton (unusually perfect), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Quesnel, which is in a Priabonian lacustrine shale in the Australian Creek Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Teleoschistus antiquus by Scudder (1890) and Scudder (1895).
