Taxonomy
Clubiona arcana was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is 2831, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Florissant (USGS collection), which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large shale/volcaniclastic in the Florissant Formation of Colorado.
