Taxonomy
Pseudosyringothyris russiensis was named by Zavodowsky (1968). Its type specimen is TsGM 21-24/8234 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Russkaya-Omolon River, Omolon Svita (1957 coll), which is in a Roadian/Wordian carbonate limestone in the Omolon Formation of the Russian Federation.
