Taxonomy
Attenuatella omolonensis was named by Zavodowsky (1968). Its type specimen is TsGM 86-96/8234 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shayboveyem River, Penzhina River, which is in a Sakmarian marine shale in the Irbychan Formation of the Russian Federation.
