Taxonomy
Stepanoviina snjatkovi was named by Zavodowsky (1968). Its type specimen is TsGM 136-138/8234 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Popovka River, limestone, Kolyma Basin (Zavodowsky coll), which is in an Asselian carbonate limestone in the Bugali Formation of the Russian Federation.
