Taxonomy
Timorphyllum raphiseptatum was named by Zhao and Zhu (1991). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xintang, Bed 4 (80-XF032), Yichun County, which is in a Wordian carbonate limestone in the Maokou Formation of China.
