Taxonomy
Pseudogastrioceras jiangxiense was named by Zhao et al. (1978). Its type specimen is NIGP 14810 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Beihuashan, Anfu County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Loping Formation of China.
