Xiangulingites applanatus

Taxonomy
Xiangulingites applanatus was named by Zhao et al. (1978). Its type specimen is NIGP 14876 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Xianguling Kuangqu, Fengcheng County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Loping Formation of China.

It was recombined as Anderssonoceras applanatum by Leonova (2002).
