Taxonomy
Araxoceras kiangsiense was named by Chao and Liang (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meilin Kuangqu, Fengcheng County, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine siliciclastic in the Loping Formation of China.
