Iaceornis marshi

Taxonomy
Iaceornis marshi was named by Clarke (2004). Its type specimen is YPM 1734, a set of postcrania (pelvis, both coracoids, both scapulae, proximal end of left clavicle, proximal end of left radius, left ulnare and radiale, right carpometacarpus, right phalang), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is north side, Smoky Hill River, 5 mi W Russell Springs, which is in a Santonian/Campanian offshore shale in the Niobrara Formation of Kansas.
