Montospira montoensis
Taxonomy
Montospira montoensis was named by Maxwell (1964). Its type specimen is UQ F42856, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UQ L1933, Yarrol, which is in a Sakmarian marine siliciclastic in the Burnett Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Montospira.
