Parakoldinia was named by Rozova (1960) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-u O Trem-l Sepkoski's reference number: 618]. It is not extant. Its type is Parakoldinia striata.
It was assigned to Nileidae by Peng (1992); to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Cheilocephalidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
