Taxonomy
Nodopleuroceras guizhouense was named by Zheng (1984). Its type specimen is NIGP 34381 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Heilajia Section HP37-6, Langdai County, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Changxing Formation of China. It is the type species of Nodopleuroceras.
