Ficarasites stigmaticum

Taxonomy
Ficarasites stigmaticum was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is Lee 144, an exoskeleton (crumpled specimen), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Green River (Lee Collection), which is in a Bridgerian lacustrine - large diatomite/shale in the Green River Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Ficarasites.
