Mackinneyella praepluriformis
Taxonomy
Polypora praepluriformis was named by Morozova (1965). Its type specimen is PIN 1613/106 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ogbin 2, Gnishik Fm, Dzhagra River, which is in a Wordian marine horizon in the Gnishik Formation of Armenia.
It was recombined as Protoretepora praepluriformis by Zimmerman and Cuffey (1987); it was recombined as Mackinneyella praepluriformis by Morozova and Lisitsyn (1996) and Ernst et al. (2006).
