Platycheirus persistens

Taxonomy
Platycheirus persistens was named by Hull (1938). Its type specimen is MCZ 3949, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Creede (MCZ collection), which is in an Oligocene crater lake shale in the Creede Formation of Colorado.
