Reticulitermes creedei
Taxonomy
Reticulitermes creedei was named by Snyder (1938). Its type specimen is MCZ 4472 ab, a hindwing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Creede (MCZ collection), which is in an Oligocene crater lake shale in the Creede Formation of Colorado.
It was considered a nomen dubium by Nel and Paicheler (1993).
