Homaloneura bonnieri
Taxonomy
Homaloneura bonnieri was named by Brongniart (1894). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R51134, an exoskeleton (body missing abdomen), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France. It is the type species of Homaloneurina.
It was recombined as Homaloneurina bonnieri by Handlirsch (1906), Handlirsch (1919) and Handlirsch (1922).
