Fouquea superba
Taxonomy
Archaecompsoneura superba was named by Meunier (1909). It is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN later coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
It was synonymized subjectively with Fouquea lacroixi by Lameere (1917); it was recombined as Fouquea superba by Kukalová (1969).
