Stenodictya spinosa
Taxonomy
Scudderia spinosa was named by Brongniart (1890). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R51315, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Commentry (MNHN Brongniart coll), which is in a Gzhelian lacustrine deltaic shale in the Commentry Shales Formation of France.
It was synonymized subjectively with Stenodictya lobata by Brongniart (1894) and Handlirsch (1906); it was recombined as Stenodictya spinosa by Kukalová (1970).
