Lithochrysa wickhami

Taxonomy
Palaeochrysa wickhami was named by Cockerell (1914). Its type specimen is MCZ 3350, an exoskeleton (fairly complete body with wings), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wilson Ranch, Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large horizon in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Lithochrysa.

It was recombined as Lithochrysa wickhami by Carpenter (1935) and Archibald and Makarkin (2017).
