Lithochrysa wickhami

Taxonomy
Palaeochrysa wickhami was named by Cockerell (1914). Its type specimen is MCZ 3350, an exoskeleton (fairly complete body with wings), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Wilson Ranch, Florissant, which is in a Chadronian lacustrine - large horizon in the Florissant Formation of Colorado. It is the type species of Lithochrysa.

It was recombined as Lithochrysa wickhami by Carpenter (1935), Archibald and Makarkin (2017) and Makarkin et al. (2022).
