Taxonomy
Ulmeriella bauckhorni was named by Meunier (1920). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Rott (Bauckhorn coll), which is in a MP 30 lacustrine - large lignite in Germany.

It was recombined as Hodotermes bauckhorni by Emerson (1933).
