Athous holmgreni

Taxonomy
Elater holmgreni was named by Heer (1870). Its type specimen is Nat. RIks. Ar. 53, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cap Staratschin, which is in a Danian/Selandian delta plain shale in the Firkanten Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

It was recombined as Athous holmgreni by Kundrata et al. (2021).
