Semiotus ehrenswaerdi

Taxonomy
Elater ehrenswaerdi was named by Heer (1870). Its type specimen is Nat. Riks. Ar. 54b, an elytra, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cap Staratschin, which is in a Danian/Selandian delta plain shale in the Firkanten Formation of Svalbard and Jan Mayen.

It was recombined as Semiotus ehrenswaerdi by Kundrata et al. (2021).
