Wareolestes rex
Taxonomy
Wareolestes rex was named by Freeman (1979). Its type specimen is FM/K 25, a tooth (single right lower molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirtlington 3p (Mammal Bed), which is in a Bathonian mire/swamp marl in the Forest Marble Formation of the United Kingdom.
