Theroteinus nikolai

Taxonomy
Theroteinus nikolai was named by Sigogneau-Russell et al. (1986). Its type specimen is SNP 78 W, a tooth (upper? molar), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Saint-Nicolas-de-Port, which is in a Rhaetian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone in the Gres à Avicula contorta Formation of France. It is the type species of Theroteinus.
