Helophorus rigescens

Taxonomy
Helophorus rigescens was named by Scudder (1890). Its type specimen is Hinde 14505, an elytra (elytron with a broken tip), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Lake Erie near Cleveland, which is in a Pleistocene lacustrine deltaic siltstone in Ohio.
