Quebecaspis was named by Rasetti (1944) [Sepkoski's age data: Cm Dres-u]. It is not extant. Its type is Quebecaspis breviceps.

It was assigned to Ptychopariida by Sepkoski (2002); and to Lonchocephalidae by Jell and Adrain (2002).
