Hantzschel 1975Bimorphous, shape depending on its hypichnial or exichnial preservation; as negative epireliefs consisting of irregularly curved chains of deep, smooth-walled dimples; chain restricted in length, some bordered laterally by flabby structures caused by burrowing; corresponding hypichnia form a median string, irregularly curving or straight or rarely meandering, consisting of single- or double-lined clay (fecal) pellets or small plates.
