Hantzschel 1975Carinate burrows, irregularly sunuous, 1 to 10 mm wide, 1 to 7 mm high; numerous fine striae crossing exterior surface obliquely and converging near lower apes; this outer structure not always present; inner structure consisting of sand rod with smooth external surface, almond-shaped in cross section; preserved as hyporelief and full relief.
