Taxonomy
Tritonalia bonaccorsii was named by Carrington and Kensley (1969). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Koingnaas/Swartlintjies 50m Complex, which is in a Pliocene transition zone/lower shoreface mudstone in South Africa.
It was recombined as Ocenebra bonaccorsii by Kensley and Pether (1986).
