Taxonomy
Colymbetes ungeri was named by Heer (1847). It is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Radoboj (Grätz Collection), which is in a Sarmatian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Croatia.
It was recombined as Agabus ungeri by Nilsson (2001).
