Sahnitherium rangapurensis

Taxonomy
Sahnitherium rangapurensis was named by Rana and Wilson (2003). Its type specimen is ITV/R/Mm-1, a tooth (right upper molar M1 or M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rangapur microvertebrate site, which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial-lacustrine marl/marl in India. It is the type species of Sahnitherium.
