Taxonomy
Triassoblatta obtusa was named by Dodds (1949). Its type specimen is UQ 1817(1816), a tegmen (right tegmen missing apical portion), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Roadside between Por. 172 and Por. 92, Par. Chuwar, which is in a Norian lacustrine shale in the Mount Crosby Formation of Australia.
