Taxonomy
Triassoblatta jonesi was named by Tillyard (1937). Its type specimen is UQ F3176, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Portion 205, Parish of Chuwar, which is in a Norian lacustrine shale in the Mount Crosby Formation of Australia.
