Brachilatus nigrimonticola
Taxonomy
Notocupes nigrimonticola was named by Ponomarenko (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 2384/397, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2384), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Brachilatus.
It was recombined as Zygadenia nigrimonticola by Kirejtshuk (2020); it was recombined as Brachilatus nigrimonticola by Strelnikova and Yan (2023).
