Syntexyela media

Taxonomy
Anaxyela media was named by Rasnitsyn (1963). Its type specimen is PIN 2452/477, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Galkino (PIN collection 2452), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Syntexyela.

It was recombined as Syntexyela media by Rasnitsyn (1968) and Taeger et al. (2010).
